Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is one of the largest and most influential state-owned oil and gas companies in the world. It plays a pivotal role in the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) oil and gas industry, being responsible for a significant portion of the country's oil and gas production and exploration activities.

ADNOC was established in 1971 when the UAE was formed as a federation of emirates. It is entirely owned by the government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which is the largest of the seven emirates in the UAE.
